got this to upgrade from an existing soundbar setup I had in my living room. It was no bigger than my previous setup but boasted much more power. I like that it is slim and discrete since this room isn’t meant to be the home theater.
The wall mount instructions were a bit goofy and difficult to follow. It is a super simple wall mount that took a bit to translate from the instructions. You remove 2 screws from the back of the soundbar and discard them. You replace them with two longer ones and attach the little blocks. You screw two holes in the wall then hang the bar from the little blocks. That’s it.
I powered it on and connected the Bluetooth and plugged in the optical cable. The sub automatically pairs with the soundbar.
There’s bass control from -5 to +5. There’s no treble control which is odd. Instead you get to choose preset audio settings such as Music, Movie, News.
The slim sub really jams like a home theater sub. Surprising how much punch it has. Since it’s wireless I first tried it behind the couch but the separation was odd and made it feel like two separate systems. Usually bass is omnidirectional but this was noticeably awkward. I moved it to the same wall as the soundbar and all was good.
The music setting is equalized nicely and sounds good and distortion free at max volume
The Movie EQ setting gives an ok surround. It’s not quite as wide as my last one and a bit too high in the midrange. I would prefer to dial down the dialog a bit but it’s not possible.
The News setting seems it was made to mimic your tv speaker. I don’t like it and won’t be using that setting. I recommend using the Movie setting for all tv shows.
Overall this is a very powerful system in a very small package. Wish it had more granular control of the audio settings but I recommend because the positives far outweigh any minor gripes I may have.
Every LCD TV I’ve owned has had the same simple problem: lousy sound. That’s not really the TV’s fault — modern TVs are extremely thin, the speakers are tiny, and they often fire downward instead of toward the viewer. I decided to try this simple soundbar with a subwoofer to see if it would help.
What a difference. My TV finally sounds right. Dialogue is clear and easy to understand, even at low volumes, and the wireless subwoofer adds just enough bass to give the sound some body without being overwhelming. One thing I really appreciate is being able to watch at night with the volume turned down and still clearly understand the dialogue without disturbing others in the house.
Installation was about as easy as it gets: a single HDMI connection to my TV’s eARC port, then plug in the soundbar and wireless subwoofer. That’s it. The included remote is straightforward and made it easy to adjust the sound to fit my room and personal preference.
This unit does exactly what I wanted it to do and provides a huge improvement over built-in TV speakers. If you’re looking for a simple, no-nonsense upgrade to your TV’s audio, I’m very happy with this AudioSource soundbar system.

We’re in the process of upgrading our living room entertainment setup, and this soundbar was the first piece we added. Setup was very straightforward. I had most of it figured out in about 10 minutes, and once I glanced at the instructions to pair the subwoofer, everything connected quickly. I had it hooked up to our projector within minutes.
For how compact the soundbar is, it puts out a surprising amount of sound. The subwoofer makes a huge difference, especially for movies and shows. I had been using an all-in-one soundbar for years and honestly forgot how much fuller everything sounds with a dedicated sub. After using this setup, I completely get it again.
We usually keep the volume around 15, which isn’t even halfway up, and it’s more than loud enough for our house. Dialogue is clear, and the bass adds depth without being overwhelming.
Overall, this has been a great upgrade to our setup. It was easy to install, sounds great, and feels like a solid value. I’d definitely order it again.
